The Evening Standard

Nice to see the press picking up on my letter in Ariel this week… It reinforces the message that anyone who takes a serious look at the BBC’s draconian pension proposals can see that there are perfectly reasonable alternatives. The Standard’s “City Spy” was one of the first to raise the idea of using the BBC’s non licence fee assets to help cover the deficit, which tells me that the idea meets a basic standard of credibility.
